Agrell Architectural Carving has earned the reputation for being one of the most quality-oriented woodcarving companies in the world. Fine-tuned by more than 30 years of magnificent commissions, we offer our clients a highly experienced management team and more than 20 expert craftspeople to deliver your important projects on time, to budget and to the highest caliber.

We employ only traditional hand-carving techniques in our projects for private residences, religious structures and public buildings. Our skills are second to none. All the work you see on this site has been undertaken by dedicated carvers who use only hand tools such as chisels, gauges and mallets. In fact, we are one of the few woodcarving companies still in existence that never carve by machine.

Ornamentation is a risky business. If done poorly it can ruin the hard work, time and money that has already been invested in the project. For example, a plain but well-profiled molding will fail spectacularly with the addition of badly executed decoration.

Good design is central to our philosophy. Whether your project is simple or complex, design is the starting point from which everything flows. Because our work is uniquely created for each job, we have the opportunity at an early stage to help your team manipulate the best-possible design and workmanship to fit your budget.

How to package and ship delicate woodcarvings

We ship our work all over the world. We couldn’t do that without global shipping services, but it’s not always a perfect solution. Our carving is very delicate, and even the most white-gloved delivery can cause breakages. When that happens we can easily make repairs, but thankfully it’s not a common occurrence.
