Acanthus Bracket
This classical style bracket has beautiful hand carved acanthus flowing down the face which rest on an astragal between a belly, sleeve and fillet. The sides of the carved bracket have two volutes in a "S" shape and the leaf decoration between these volutes is honeysuckle.
The acanthus decoration on this bracket is delicate however, this can be simplified to reduce carving time or to suit a different style.
