CALIFORNIA STATE CAPITOL, GRAND STAIRCASE
From 1976 to 1982, the California State Capitol building underwent a substantial $68 million restoration. The building was unsafe and in need of repair and it was also decided to restore it to is original 1906 appearance. We were involved at a later date replacing damaged and lost elements to the main staircase - including the Californian Bear emblems you see in the photos.
The Grand staircases are also featured on the California State Capitol Museum virtual tour
